Today National Coming Out Day, marking the 30th anniversary of the March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. That event would result in President Ronald Reagan to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
"Coming out is one of the most courageous acts any LGBTQ person makes, and on this National Coming Out Day that courage remains essential to our continued progress toward full equality,” Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin said in a press release today.
