Your Refillable Water Bottle May Have More Germs Than A Dog Toy

A study done by Treadmill Reviews revealed a reusable water bottle could have more germs than licking a dog's  toy.

The study found an average athlete's water bottle carries 313,499 colony-forming units. However, a dog toy holds 2,937 colony-forming units. The results revealed the cleanest type of water bottle was a straw-top, followed by the screw-top, squeeze-top, and lastly the slide-top. Using a stainless steel type of water bottle was the best to use.

Don't forget to wash your reusable water bottle regularly!
