Mother Uses Adorable Elf On The Shelf Photos Of Her Son To Help Children

Everyone knows how popular the traditional Elf on the Shelf has become...

This one mom from Nashville, Indiana Megan Schott dressed up her son to raise money to buy toys for children in need.

She started dressing up her 18-month-old son as an Elf of the Shelf.

Mother of 18-month-old son Forest, has taken anywhere between 80 to 100 photos just to get a single shot of her son as Elf on The Shelf....

Everyone kept asking if they were going to see her son as an Elf on the Shelf and she decided to make a fundraiser out of it. She stated " In order for me to post a nightly picture of Forest, someone would have to donate in the past 24 hours."

Schott had a goal of $500 but was blown away by the response.

She then raised her goal to $1,000 and now has raised more that $2,000 which she'll split and donate to the Salvation Army and the Columbus Fireman's Cheer Fund.

She mentioned that she just really wants to teach her son to be a caring and compassionate person and to be there for others.
