Amazon Prime membership fee has increased from $10.99 to $12.99.
This is the first time the online service has hiked up its prices in the two years it began. However, the one-time annual fee of $99 to have access all year round will stay the same.
Amazon's Prime program for students will also increase from $5.49 to $6.49, but standalone Prime Video membership, will remain at $8.99.
