Former Glee star Mark Salling was found dead due to an apparent suicide in his Tujunga home this morning. The actor more than a month away from his sentencing to pleading guilty for possession of child porn. He was 35.
Salling pleaded guilty to downloading 25,000 images of minors engaging in sexual acts. He also tried to hide his illegal activity by using special software. His sentencing was set for March 7; the plea deal involved serving four to seven years in federal prison, and 20 years of supervised release. Afterwards he would have registered as a sex offender.
