These SoCal Toys 'R' Us Stores Are Closing This Year

Many Toys 'R' Us locations are beginning to close their doors, and ten Southern California stores have been impacted.

After filing for bankruptcy in September, the company announced that almost 200 stores will be shut down by April, according to CBS.

Whatever it is you're searching for, move quickly because the stores will be closing shop by April.

There are 182 locations being closed down nationwide, and the following locations in Southern California are being impacted:

• Riverside 2550 Canyon Springs Pkwy S. CA

• Corona 3665 Grand Oaks CA

• Torrance 20120 Hawthorne Blvd. CA

• Indio 42500 Jackson St. CA

• Simi Valley 1189 Simi Town Ctr Way CA

• Santa Clarita 26573 Carl Boyer Dr. CA

• Covina 960 Lakes Drive CA

• Puente Hills 1600 S. Azusa Ave. CA

• Brea 2575 E. Imperial Highway CA

• Westminster 530 Westminster Mall CA

While this is sad to hear because the store is practically legendary, there is a small amount of good coming out of it. The stores are hosting closure sales of at least 30 percent! If you need to get some toy shopping done, now is the time.

For example... if your child has had their eye on a Hatchimal, this is your chance to shine. The popular toy was a huge hit this holiday season and was very difficult to get your hands on. If you can find it on sale at Toys 'R' Us, that's a steal.

Or maybe you're looking to buy a drone. These are also available at Toys 'R' Us! Strap a camera onto that drone and you're going to be capturing professional-status aerial photos and videos.

And don't worry — the stores will still be accepting gift cards and honoring their customer loyalty program throughout the closure sales.
