Heard of Brian Ortega yet? Homegrown kid, raised in a tough neighborhood in the South Bay area of LA, taught him that “falling in with a bad crowd” would actually inspire his purpose. As a young teen, he went to the local Gracie Academy Jiu Jitsu gym in Torrance, CA and asked to work in exchange of lessons. He's clean the mats, wash towels, help in any way just to learn how to protect himself. Now, at 27, is at the top making a name for himself in the world of Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. This weekend, he's competing in the biggest fight of his career at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. When he wins this weekend, (😉) he will make even more headlines.
