LA's 6 Coolest Outdoor Shopping Spots

Outdoor shopping malls and flea markets can be a much less stressful way to shop considering you aren't enclosed in a building with thousands of strangers. Although there are still tons of people, you can roam freely and be outside in the sunshine.

Here are 6 of our favorite outdoor shopping spots in LA!

1. Melrose Trading Post

The Melrose Trading Post is a flea market held every Sunday on the campus of Fairfax High School. This flea market is equipped with vintage clothing and jewelry galore! There is also plenty of art, food trucks, furniture and more. They have live local performers every week and the entire atmosphere is a hipster's paradise.

2. The Grove

The Grove is an outdoor mall with plenty of clothing stores and an adorable farmer's market. Take a ride on their trolley and enjoy the fresh air! They have Nike, Topshop, Sephora, Blue Ribbon Sushi, an American Girl Café... and that's just the beginning of the list!

3. Rose Bowl Flea Market

The Rose Bowl Flea Market is held on the second Sunday of each month. Similar to the Melrose Trading Post, they have a wide variety of vintage pieces and hand-made creations from local vendors. You do have to pay to get in, but general admission entry is only $9 after 9 a.m. That's worth it for all the deals you'll find! Children under age 12 are free.

4. Third Street Promenade

Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica is home to street performers, cute outdoor eateries and hundreds of shops. This location is perfect for date night or even just a fun day out shopping with friends! They have Urban Outfitters, Adidas, Forever 21, Lemonade and much more.

5. Rodeo Drive

If you're looking for more upscale, designer outdoor shopping, Rodeo Drive is the place to be. Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., Giorgio Armani... every designer you're looking for, they have it. Even if you aren't feeling wild with your spending, walking down this legendary street is a ton of fun!

6. Santee Alley

Santee Alley in Downtown LA is the perfect spot to go if you're looking to do some inexpensive shopping. There are tons of small stores lining the streets of Santee Alley, and they have everything from very distinctive pieces of art to unique, detailed clothing. If you are a fan of small trinkets and handmade items, this is perfect for you!

No matter where you go for a day of outdoor shopping, you're bound to find some great items.
