Disney has recruited director Charlie Bean, the one who brought you The Lego Ninjago Movie, to direct the live-action film of Lady and The Tramp.
According to Deadline, this live-action film will the first film to debut on Disney's new streaming service, set to launch at the end of 2019. Disney's streaming service will also provide four to six original movies other than film and TV from their brands like Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. It's also been confirmed a live-action Star Wars television series is coming to the streaming service.
Alongside working with Bean will be producer Brigham Taylor, who also did the live-action film for The Jungle Book.
