First Ever Scratch-and-Sniff Stamps Coming Soon To A Post Office Near You

Our friends at the United States Post Office shared the new Forever stamp coming out this summer, the first ever scratch-and-sniff stamp! The booklet of 20 smelly stamps has the art of frozen popsicles in a variety of colors created by local artist, Margaret Berg of Santa Monica, CA. The stamps can be pre-ordered at this link. Expected delivery for stamps to arrive is June 20th.

If you really care about the new stamps, you can watch them being issued on the first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony, which is free and open to the public, and will take place at 6 p.m. CDT at Austin’s Thinkery Children’s Museum. Best part is, if you follow the U.S. Postal Service’s Facebook page, you can view the ceremony live at facebook.com/USPS. Share the news using the hashtag #FrozenTreatsStamps.

If you want to do something fun this summer with your kiddos who are on summer vacation, teach them how to write letters and start a pen pal frenzy!
