First Ever Scratch-and-Sniff Stamps Coming Soon To A Post Office Near You

Our friends at the United States Post Office shared the new Forever stamp coming out this summer, the first ever scratch-and-sniff stamp! The booklet of 20 smelly stamps has the art of frozen popsicles in a variety of colors created by local artist, Margaret Berg of Santa Monica, CA. The stamps can be pre-ordered at this link. Expected delivery for stamps to arrive is June 20th.

If you really care about the new stamps, you can watch them being issued on the first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony, which is free and open to the public, and will take place at 6 p.m. CDT at Austin’s Thinkery Children’s Museum. Best part is, if you follow the U.S. Postal Service’s Facebook page, you can view the ceremony live at Share the news using the hashtag #FrozenTreatsStamps.

If you want to do something fun this summer with your kiddos who are on summer vacation, teach them how to write letters and start a pen pal frenzy!
