The small branch, near Snell Avenue and Branham Lane in San Jose, is the home to 11 lucky employees that just become millionaires!

They all went in together to buy one mega million ticket and won the $543 million Mega Million, leaving them each with $29 million!

All lucky employees, kept it very quiet when they found out their exciting news.  No one at work knew either. They all just noticed something was a little off, like their extra enthusiasm.

Things slowly started to come together after the Wells Fargo branch unexpectedly closed on Saturday, the day the winners were announced.

They each decided to receive a one-time payout of $29 million, according to lottery officials.

When the bank re-opened for business on Monday, they braced themselves for all attention and suspicion that was to head their way. They tried to keep going on the day as normal, but it was a little hard.

The bank helped by lowering the blinds to keep lookie-loos away and some of the tellers and consultants removed their name tags so no one could identify the winners.

“I tried asking who won, but they told me they couldn’t say,” said Cornelius Lopez, a retired San Jose resident who has been a long-time customer of the branch.

Some say they heard a few of the winners left town for a bit to get away from the attention.

Many customers are curious if the winners will continue to work at the branch since they all just became millionaires.

“I guess they’re going to need new employees,” said Ricardo Alvarez, a student at San Jose State.

Along with curiosity, Regular clients of this branch are excited for their familiar faces to win, "This is the best bank,” said Jamshed Khan, “They deserve it.”

With all the exciting commotion this million dollar win has brought to Wells Fargo, the branch seemed eager to get back to work and are operating as normal.

Amid the fanfare, Wells Fargo representatives seemed eager to get back to business as usual.

The $543 million winning ticket was purchased at Ernie's Liquors in San Jose. The liquor store was awarded with a million dollar check for selling the ticket.
