Okay so the ending of the hit Netflix film, Bird Box, had plenty of people either upset, content, or just left of edge. I won't spoil it if you haven't seen the film yet, but what are you waiting for! Go watch it!
Either way, we're all curious to know the next move for Malorie (Sandra Bullock) and Girl and Boy -- Olympia and Tom. In such a dystopian world, one can only assume the worst, right? Well, maybe. Josh Malerman, the author of the 2014 novel that gave rise to the popular Netflix film is now giving us more! Later this year, viewers can turn they eyes to print and read about the future of Malorie.
"As much as I care about Boy and Girl, this isn't their story," Malerman told Esquire. "The Bird Box world is Malorie's story, and I wanted to know more about her. I wanted to get to know her even better."
Expect to see the book hit the shelves on October 1st, 2019.
