Have you ever heard of a wallet degree? Yes, that would be an actual college degree that is shrunken down to wallet size so that you can whip it out at a moments notice. It can seriously come in handy when you're in the market for a new car and there's a discount for recent grads. Or if a potential job employer asks to see a degree. This is especially true for people living oversees where international employers require proof of a certificate.
Many people are torn over wondering how all schools don't hand these out and what the heck are these things. It appears that many institutions stopped producing these years ago, but some still hold onto the tradition.
Check out some of the responses below:
"Honestly I feel like I’d do this when I get my PhD and when people don’t call me Dr. Johnson or Dr. Rachel. I’d pull it out and be like excuse please address me correctly thank you. "
"A graduate can purchase a wallet size diploma as a part of senior (if you will) obligations packages at most universities via their bookstore. OPTIONAL!"
Good to know!
