See Terrifying Catch Of Giant Eyed Alien Fish

If I pulled this up when out fishing, I would have freaked! What in the depths is this thing?

19 year old fishing guide Oscar Lundahl was in a boat off of Norway fishing trolling for a rare blue halibut. He got a tug on the line with four hooks baited with mackerel and 30 minutes later pulled out of the water what’s called a Ratfish from a depth of 2600 feet.

The fish – a relative of the shark that dates back 300 million years – is rarely caught.

So what do you do with a rare fish like this after it’s caught? Get it to a fish biologist, donate it to an aquarium? Well if your Oscar, you take it home and fry it up. He said it tastes like Cod. But better. Would you try a bite?
