Adele Tweets For The First Time In A Year

Adele has made her big return to Twitter and the pop titan has an important announcement to share.

On Tuesday (November 26), the chart-topper, 31, took to the social media platform in almost a year for an important message to U.K. citizens, encouraging her 27.5 million followers to vote. "Don't forget to Register to Vote before midnight tonight U.K.," she wrote, along a hyperlink where users can do so. Her last tweet was sent on December 13, 2018 when she remembered the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire that took the lives of 72 people.

We're still holding out for Adele's comeback record about her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Simon Knocki, which reportedly reflects on the dissolution of their marriage, but from a positive perspective. According to The Sun, Adele's upcoming musical offering will be an upbeat song about her relationship with Knocki. "But it’s optimistic, reflective of the good times and about learning to move on from them and make new memories by yourself," an insider told the outlet. "It has been cathartic for her to put her feelings into her music. Fans can expect to hear personal details on her album. All being well, the song should be out in November but she is still working on everything."

Adele filed for divorce from her estranged husband in September. The filing comes after the pair of more than seven years, who tied the knot in 2016. Adele and Simon share six-year-old son, Angelo Adkins.
