Kesha stopped by the KTU studio in New York and talked with Carolina and Greg T about her dreams of performing at the Super Bowl.
Carolina said,“Recently you were asked about J.Lo and Shakira at the Super Bowl, I know you said that they’re going to crush it, but this is where I start the petition. I don’t know who’s doing the national anthem but I’m all for Kesha doing the national anthem! I mean how do we get you on that spot?”
Kesha responded, “That is one of those crazy big dreams and you’re asking the wrong person on how to get there, but hell yeah I’m down!”
Carolina asked Kesha if she would be scared of messing up. “Are you afraid of doing the national anthem? Because we have had so many singers come in here and say that they don’t want to do it because it is one of the hardest songs to sing.”
And Kesha simply replied, “That’s life, sometimes you mess up. And I think at this point, whatever. People have talked so much shit to me in my life, that’s why this album is called High Road. I’m like ‘now bring it, bring it on!’
