Generous Man Leaves Server $5,000 Tip!

I LOVE stories like this. When I was in my late teens and early 20's, I was a server. (Does anyone remember "Hungry Hunter" steakhouse?) Serving is a hard and often thankless job. So I love when people surprise their servers with generous tips as it helps out SO much!

Inspired by the #2020 challenge (started by Donnie Whalberg at IHOP, encouraging people to tip $2020 for this year) a man named Ernie Buch Jr., who owns a car dealership, left a $5,000 tip on a $157 bill in Massachusetts! The restaurant was called Seaglass Restaurant and the server's name as Jennifer Navaria. She said, "I was like 'oh, wait a minute' so I looked down and saw it was 4 digits and then a decimal point. I said 'you made my night' but really he made my month."

Buch Jr. said, "Who's making the next move? Who's it going to be? Who's going to help us out? It's got to be more than me -- I was more than Donnie -- (so) it's got to be more than me. Let's keep it going!"
