Billie Eilish Sets Release Date For James Bond Theme Song 'No Time To Die'

After much anticipation, Billie Eilish has announced that her theme song to No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond franchise, will drop on Thursday (February 13).

On Wednesday, the superstar, 18, took to social media to break the big news, detailing the song's release. "I wrote the theme song to the 25th @007 movie," she captioned a haunting clip of piano chords from the track, adding, "It's called 'No Time To Die' and it's out tomorrow at 4pm PT." The song, which follows the release of her recent single, "everything i wanted," was co-written by her brother/right-hand producer, FINNEAS.

"We've always wanted to write a James Bond theme song," Finneas previously told the Billboard Pop Shop Podcast after the track's announcement. "And you know, it's a legendary franchise, so we had to convince a lot of people that we were the right choice. And then we had to write a song that everybody liked. So it was a hard-won process. The whole pairing is very authentic to my and Billie's relationship with those movies. We've always loved James Bond movies."

With the release, Eilish becomes the youngest artist to ever record the coveted song after Sam Smith delivered "Writing's On The Wall" off 2015's Sceptre. He was just 23-years-old. Expect to hear the track, as well as others, when she jumpstarts her "Where Do We Go World Tour," which kicks off in March in Miami, Florida. The trek should keep her busy until late July. Meanwhile, the upcoming 007 film, No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig is scheduled to hit theaters on April 10.
