Fashion Designer Christian Siriano Creates Surgical Masks For Those In Need

Fashion designer Christian Siriano (one of my favorite people EVER!) responded to New York's governor, Andrew Cuomo, asking if people could step up and help with resources to fight the Coronavirus epidemic. Siriano tweeted him, " If Governor Cuomo says we need masks my team will help make some. I have a full sewing team still on staff working from home that can help."

He has since been in touch daily with the Governor, saying he and his staff are busy creating prototypes that would be good for medical staff and individuals. He said,"Thanks everyone for all the support. We are making waves and working on getting approvals before we start anything. It's very important before anyone does anything to help, please make sure what you are making is safe and hopefully FDA approved. We must be smart." See his prototypes and updates below.

I just LOVE how everyone is doing what they can to support! From Cardi B donating proceeds of her Coronavirus remix (that's gone viral), to Neil Diamond changing the lyrics of "Sweet Caroline" to a Coronavirus PSA....every little thing makes a difference. Have you been inspired buy something you saw online? Feel free to let me know....we're all in this together.

Quarantined hugs,
