Selena Gomez Reveals She's Bipolar While Speaking With Miley Cyrus

This conversation was SO honest and therapeutic. Bravo, ladies!

Miley Cyrus has been doing a series of interviews on IG live every weekday called "Bright-Minded: Live with Miley at 11:30am PT, Monday-Friday" and Selena Gomez was her Friday guest!. They both talk about how they're coping during the pandemic, but I especially loved Selena Gomez' brave conversation about her bipolar diagnosis. Around the 12:15 mark, Miley asked Selena "What's your advice for someone who wants to talk more about mental health?" And Selena said, "Recently, I went to one of the best mental health hospitals in America, McLean hospital, and I discussed that after years of going through different things, I realized I was bipolar. When I got to know more information, it actually helps me. It doesn't scare me once I know it." She also mentioned that she's from Texas, and talking about mental health wasn't something she grew up with and she noticed resentment building up with the younger generation as they were desperate to actually talk about it.

Miley mentioned she's been writing a lot more "to help her process" what's going on, and reconnecting with loved ones. Watch their entire chat, below.
