Georgia Bar Owner Removes Dollar Bills From Walls To Save Staff!

Knowing how much people are standing up to help others right now is SO inspiring.

There's a bar in Tybee Island, Georgia, called The Sand Bar, which had to close as they are considered a "non essential" business. Because of this, the entire staff- including 2 bartenders and 4 musicians- were left unemployed. Owner Jennifer Knox decided to do something to help- she (with the help of 5 volunteers) spent 5 days removing EVERY single dollar that was stapled to the walls. The total? $3,714- which gave her employees about $600 a piece. Additionally, members of the community donated as soon as they heard about what Jennifer was doing. What a great story!!

Have you been able to help anyone in need? I'd love to know your story.
