Tom Hanks Sends Personal Letter To Bullied 8-Year-Old Boy!

What a sweet, sweet gesture Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson just did for this little boy!

An 8-year-old Australian boy, named Corona, wrote to Tom Hanks out of frustration. He said, "I heard on the news you and your wife had caught the virus. Are you okay/ I love my name but at school, people call me the Coronavirus. I get very sad and angry when people call me this."

So, what did Tom Hanks do? Typed him a personal letter on a typewriter, saying, "Your letter made my wife and I feel so wonderful. Friends make their friends feel good when they're down. You've got a friend in me." He also included the actual typewriter he used to type on (appropriately named "Corona") as a gift! He said, "I thought this typewriter would suit you. I had taken it to the Gold Coast- and now it's back, with you. Ask a grown-up how it works, and use it to write me back."

Awww! So now he's got a pen pal, named Tom Hanks. Check out the letter and typewriter, below!
