If you are still missing your stimulus check, here's some good news for you. The IRS will now take your calls. If you do call, you should keep in mind that callers should expect long wait times and limited answers to complicated questions you may have.
As of Monday, 3,500 IRS workers began to answer the phone lines. When you call in, you will listen to a recorded message and then have the option to speak to a representative. According to a press release, the IRS stated "IRS telephone assistance and other services will remain limited, and answers for most of the common questions related to Economic Impact Payments are available on IRS.gov. The IRS anticipates bringing back additional assistors as state and local advisories permit.”
