Graduates Donate Gowns To Hospitals Through "Gowns 4 Good"

What an amazing idea! Nathaniel Moore is a physician's assistant at the University of Vermont, Burlington, who started "Gowns 4 Good"- a charity that donates gowns to hospital facilities lacking the necessary PPE to safely operate during Covid-19 outbreaks. (PPE = personal protective equipment)

He said, "The image of my colleagues on the front line and at other medical facilities that lack the appropriate PPE and wearing trash bags with no sleeves and no protection under the waist- that just struck me."

Moore says because of the gowns' length, sleeves and zippered access, they are more affective than the current protective equipment. So far, more than 75,000 medical professionals have registered for these gowns! Special shout-out to the amazing graduating class of 2020....who not only is not getting a ceremony, but is donating the gown they couldn't wait to wear on graduation day. I am CRYING!!
