The fast-food hamburger chain Big Boy's Restaurant just changed their iconic mascot after 84 years to a girl named Dolly.
Dolly isn't new, if you know Big Boy beyond his cameo in Austin Powers, you may remember that Dolly appeared in the classic comic books, "Adventures of the Big Boy." The chain announced that Dolly replaced the iconic mascot to help release a new item.
Frank Alessandrini, who is Big Boy's director of training said that Dolly is Big Boy's best friends and has appeared on kids menus and coloring pages throughout the years. For the time being, no Dolly statues will be made to stand outside restaurants but she has replaced the logo on the social media accounts and website.
Alessandrini stated "Big Boy has always had his own burger. We're excited that Dolly, after so long, got her own sandwich."
