Lost Tiffany Wedding Band Found by Trader Joe's Employee

A married couple believed to have lost a 40-year-old wedding band from Tiffany and Co. forever.

Masako Iso and her husband Shoji Iso were grocery shopping at the Trader Joe's at Union Square in New York City last month when Iso noticed his four decades old wedding band was missing from his left ring finger.

“We thought it was gone,” she recounted to New York Post. Shoji, refusing to lose hope, reassured his wife that “everything would be OK,” per the outlet.

Shoji bought the wedding band from Tiffany and Co. in 1981 for $250 when he arrived to Manhattan from Tokyo, Japan. The ring is symbolic of the couple's union as they both have the same ring.

The couple alerted the store manager and with the help of employee Orlando Cintron, they went searching for the ring.

They retracted all of the couple's steps and after 20 minutes of searching, Cintron spotted the ring in between a rack of baby back ribs at the store's Union Square location in New York City.
