While there are many idyllic little towns scattered throughout the gorgeous urban and rural landscapes that make up California, only two are known for being the coolest and best around.

Be it location, scenery, activity, or architecture (to name only a few traits) something about these interesting spots lands them on the top of the list of the coolest and best towns in the entire country!

Today, we're going to dive into the exact reason that these ideal locations are considered the coolest towns in the country.

According to a list compiled by Travel Curator, the coolest small towns in all of California are Solvang and Carmel-By-The-Sea.
