Selena Gomez recently addressed rumors that she is selling her beloved cosmetics company, Rare Beauty.
The Only Murders in the Building actress sat down with Women's Wear Daily earlier this week and confirmed that she has no intention of putting the brand up for sale any time soon.
"I think it's important for me not to focus on the logistics, if that makes sense, for me and my personal well-being." The standout emphasized that Rare Beauty is more than just a business venture to her; it's a heartfelt passion project that she dedicated immense effort to building.
"I put my heart into it. I work really hard, and I love our community, especially my fans. They have gotten me through all of the ups and all of the downs of life, and they are with me."
E!News mentioned that the brand is so much more than just cosmetics. A percentage of each sale goes towards the Rare Beauty Impact Fund, which serves to "raise awareness and de-stigmatize youth mental health," a cause personally significant to Gomez.
As for the future of Rare Beauty, Gomez assured that "there's still so much more places we could go."
"I'm so grateful that I'm in this place in my life where, you know, things could have looked differently. The future for Rare for me is just the fact that we want to continue to create products. There's still so much more room, there's still so much more places we could go."
Speaking of more room, the brand is gearing up to launch its first fragrance next month!
