Justin Bieber is putting his love for his family on display with his latest album.
Bieber dropped his surprise new album SWAG II on Friday (September 5), and it is full of references and homages to his wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber and their 1-year-old son Jack Blues Bieber, per People. SWAG II serves as a follow-up to his last project SWAG, which dropped in July and was his first new album since 2021's Justice.
In "Better Man," Bieber sings about how his love helps him be a better person and promises "no bitterness" and "just tenderness" when they're together, while "Love Song" details how he wants to write a love song so good "you can't stop singing to me," and that "time gets prettier with you... it's like magic when you kiss me."
"I Do" commemorates the couple's vows and working through hard times, with Bieber singing, "I mean it when I said that I do... You will always be the one that I choose... I just wanna say if something's going down, let's communicate it now." Bieber also praises his wife on tracks like "I Think You're Special" and "Speed Demon" and references their hardships in songs like "Don't Wanna" and "Petting Zoo."
Additionally, "Mother In You" shares how baby Jack is the best of both himself and his wife, "My smile, her grace/ both of our hearts/ Oh, child, every day you're the best part."
The "Daisies" singer shocked fans on Thursday by announcing he was dropping a brand new album just two months after his last. In the lead up to the album's surprise release, Bieber shared promotional posts on social media that included a sweet family photo with Hailey and Jack, with the "Daisies" singer holding the 1 year old as his wife smiled at their son.
