Orlando Bloom has "nothing but love" for his ex Katy Perry.
In a new interview with Today, the Pirates of the Caribbean star broke his silence on his split from his former fiancée months after they ended their relationship after nearly nine years of dating. While promoting his new film The Cut, Bloom was asked how he has been doing since the split and, according to the actor, he's "great."
"I'm so grateful. We have the most beautiful daughter," Bloom said, referring to their 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove. "You know, when you leave everything on the field, like I did in this movie, I feel grateful for all of it. And we're great. We're going to be great. It's nothing but love."
The Lord of the Rings actor and the "Woman's World" singer dated off and on since 2016 before getting engaged in 2019. They welcomed Daisy the following year. Reps for the exes confirmed their split in July with a joint statement, asking for privacy amid their "shifting" relationship.
"Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting," the statement read. "They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect."
The former flames were seen reuniting in July, co-parenting their daughter while spending time on Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' $500 million yacht in Italy and taking a stroll together through Capri.
