Ariana Grande is unveiling a wickedly cool new look as her blonde era appears to be over.
The We Can't Be Friends singer shared a photo on Instagram on Wednesday (October 29) of her switching up her hair color and going darker for the first time since 2022 when she lightened her hair for the filming of Wicked, E! News reports. In the mirror selfie, Grande showed off her long curled locks dyed back to a darker brunette shade closer to her natural color.
"It's good to see me, isn't it?" she captioned the post, referencing a line from her Wicked character Glinda, per People.
Grande wasn't the only one loving the new hue. Her hair colorist Francesco De Chiara declared, "We're back amore," in the comments under the singer's post and reshared the snap to his Instagram Stories, writing, "Here she is."
Fans also flooded the comments showing their support for her new 'do. "Another moment for the history book," one user wrote, while others noted how "stunning" and "gorgeous" she looked. Another excitedly said, "I wasn't ready for this!!!!" as another wrote, "Ahhh brown hair is back!!"
The change comes as Grande is preparing for the press tour with costar Cynthia Erivo for the second and final installment of Wicked, Wicked: For Good, which comes out next month.
Grande is also getting ready to hit the road next year for her Eternal Sunshine tour, her first since her Sweetener World Tour in 2019. The tour, which is in support of her 2024 album of the same name, kicks off in California in June 2026 and will take her to several cities around North America as well as London.
Wicked: For Good premieres November 21.
