posted by Ellen K -

On the heels of World Autism Awareness Day on April  2, Sesame Place theme park in Pennsylvania was deemed as a certified autism center.

Sesame Place wrote on their Facebook page,  "It's our goal to provide every family with an enjoyable and memorable visit, and we are proud to offer specialized services to guests with autism and other special needs."

The children's theme park trains their team members with the proper knowledge, skills and temperament to interact with all families and children with special needs.

Sesame Place will open for its summer season on April 28.

Sesame Place is the first theme park in the world to be designated as a Certified Autism Center! It's our goal to provide every family with an enjoyable and memorable visit, and we are proud to offer specialized services to guests with autism and other special needs. #AutismAwarenessDay #WorldAutismAwarenessDay
