On Southwest Airlines A Human Heart Was Found!

This isn't exactly what you want to find on your flight....

Passengers on a Southwest flight from Seattle to Dallas found something that came as a bit of a shock to them.

A human heart that was intended as a transplant was left on board the plane.

Southwest Airlines released a statement that read "During Flight #3606 with scheduled service from Seattle to Dallas this past Sunday evening, we learned of a life-critical cargo shipment on board the aircraft that was intended to stay in Seattle for delivery to a local hospital. Therefore, we made the decision to return to Seattle to ensure the shipment was delivered to its destination within the window of time allotted by our cargo customer."

The issue is, a heart transplant must happen almost immediately.

It can only be stored for four to six hours in order for the transplant to be in full effect.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services stated that there are an average of 20 patients waiting each day awaiting an organ transplant.

Imagine finding a human heart on your flight?!

What do you think of this?!
