Season 16 of "The Voice" now has a winner!
Maelyn Jarmon was named the season champ, handing John Legend his first official win as a coach!
Jarmon stated "This has gone above and beyond my expectations.. I owe it to everyone who voted and streamed my songs."
Legend agreed the feelings were mutual. He said that Maeyln made him feel at peace and everything was just right when he got to listen to her voice.
Jarmon is deaf in one ear and wowed all the judges way back in the auditioning days.
She was the first member to join Team Legend and take home the trophy!
