Spider-Man May No Longer Be Apart Of The Marvel Universe

Hold on to your webs when you hear this news.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are currently figuring out a new financing deal for the upcoming Spider-Man films.

The future will decide if Spider-Man will still be apart of the MCU!

Variety stated that if the two studios don't come to an agreement, Marvel Studios president will no longer produce the future Spider-Man films.

That means that Tom Holland's Peter Parker will be erased from the Marvel Universe.

As of right now, the studios have been working out a deal.

Disney asked for a 50/50 co-financing agreement for future Spider-Man films.

Sony then didn't agree with that deal, leading us to the current debate today.

Sony doesn't want to give up half of their biggest franchise to Marvel.

Fans mentioned that this is the third Spider-Man rendition that we've gotten from Sony.

Sony is believed to be developing two more Spider-Man films, but if a deal isn't made that will not be happening.

Negotiations are still in the process, but we are hoping that Sony and Marvel work together to figure out how to make these films continue in peace.

What do you think they should do?
