Surfers Are Putting Eyes On Their Boards To Scare Sharks Away!

Surfers are trying to limit great white shark attacks.

They came up with the idea of sticking two huge eyes to the undersides of their boards to prevent the white sharks from attacking them.

The sharks have been known to attack surfers, they are predators who prefer to sneak up on prey from below or behind.

How scary!

Shark Eyes was founded by surfer and shark attack survivor Shanan Worrall.

The eyes at the bottom of the surfboard are meant to make sharks think they lost the element of surprise.

Some surfers were wearing devices which emit electro-magnetic pulses that cause sharks to convulse when they come too close!

As of recently, there has been 300 great whites spotted off the East Coast and 2,400 great whites patrolling the waters to the west of the US!

Worrall's eye stickers can be attached to surfboards, diving gear and even surfing clothing.

What do you think about this?!
