Disney is teaming up with Charter Communications to assure you that there will be no sharing passwords with Disney+.
It launches in November and according to a press release it was stated that sharing passwords will become very tricky.
The press release stated "The two companies will work together to implement business rules and techniques to address such issues as unauthorized access and password sharing. This agreement will allow Spectrum to continue delivering to its customers popular Disney content, makes possible future distribution by Spectrum of Disney streaming services, and will begin an important collaborative effort to address the significant issue of piracy mitigation."
Disney and Charter plan to allow families and friends to still share passwords.
They plan on doing this by tracking the IP addresses.
