You probably have thousands of Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons hanging around the house that you have used over and over. It has just been announced that you might be seeing a lot fewer of them as the company just announced they are scaling back on issuing them.
Joe Hartsig, the Chief Merchandising Officer stated that the company is seeing an over-reliance on the coupon and would be cutting down on how many they offer. According to a study, the company found that their new customers are younger and 20% less likely to use one of their coupons. You still will get them in the mail, the company will not be getting rid of them altogether, you just will see fewer amounts of them.
Cindy Davis, the Chief Brand Officer stated: "Coupons are part of our DNA and will continue to be a key part of the mix in the future, but we also know that many of our shoppers want to save in different ways.”
