Best Places To Trick Or Treat In Los Angeles

You've picked out the perfect costume. Your kids all seem happy with what they are going to "be." You're even going to let them carry around the pillow case to stuff full of candy (which seems excessive, but pick your battles, right?).

So, where are you going to get the most candy for your walk? Here are some of the best places to say "Trick Or Treat, Smell My Feet" this Halloween.

Angelino Heights.

Every house is like a mysterious, haunted mansion in one of L.A.'s oldest neighborhoods...the perfect spooky back drop to collect as many Snickers bars as you can imagine. And word on the street is, residents don't skimp on the candy. Check it out on Carrol Avenue and Douglas Street.  (Ohh...and bonus points if you can find the "Thriller" house...you can see this one in Michael Jackson's famous music video!)

Brentwood Glen

This neighborhood has so many houses in such a short walk of each other. Perfect for little trick or treaters. Plus, residents are super generous with their candy and really go all out with their decorations! Check out this walk-a-ble desination for trick or treating between Church and Beloit Streets.

DTLA

Now, this may be more of a party than a trick-or-treating hot spot, and not the easiest to get to, but totally worth it! The Annual Halloween Party at Grand Hope Park has bounce houses, caramel apples and "trick-or-treat-doors." This party costs $8 in advance to enter and $10 day of and goes 5p-8p!

Venice Beach

The canal community is beautiful all year long...but during Halloween, residents go ALL OUT and get extra spooky. Stroll over the bridges and be prepared to meet residents in costume when you hold out your bucket yelling "Trick Or Treat!" Find the neighborhood at Dell and Venice Boulevard

Toluca Lake

This neighborhood known as "the flats" is no secret to Trick Or Treaters. The area is PACKED during Halloween hours where you can see Bob Hope's former house on Ledge and Moorpark. Although the Hope family is no longer giving out full-size candy bars and kazoos, the neighbors certainly keep the tradition alive. These houses are on big lots, so be prepared to do some walking...so wear comfy shoes!

Start on Ledge and Moorpark to get the full experience of "the flats."

Beverly Hills

This is the neighborhood that legends are made of....including full size candy bars and even envelopes full of cash! Walden Drive is the hot spot where homes go all out with decorations...but go early before teens arrive with their shaving cream. This is a must see spot because the beloved Beverly Hills Witches House is on Walden which looks like...a fairy tale cottage where Snow White may have stayed. Or Hansel and Gretel.

Find the house and this awesome Trick or Treat Spot on Walden and Carmelita

Anything we missed?! Where are YOU trick or treating this year?
