Kyle And The Kids At CHOC Could Use Your Help, Donate Today

Read: Today I have a story to share with you that's close to my heart. My friend, Janice Briggs Shore, has a son named Kyle Shore. He's 23 and was diagnosed with leukemia at 15. It was so bad he almost died and had to learn to walk again, but he eventually went into remission. That was until April of 2018 when he was diagnosed with non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He started chemo again went into remission. Folks at the Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) wanted to find out why he got a new cancer. Turns out that he has a rare gene deficiency and needed a bone marrow transplant. His father became the donor, and now Kyle is fighting for a full recovery!

He has been at CHOC since January 25th and is getting blood platelets regularly. I am bringing this to your attention because there is a blood/platelet shortage in Southern California and CHOC hospital is having to get blood from different agencies. They are in dire need of donations, blood and platelets. If you can please help Kyle and all the kids at CHOC, call and make an appointment to donate! You can even make donations in Kyle Shore's name.

The number is 714-509-8339. All you need is an ID that shows you are over 17 years of age, and you can't go in with a cold or flu. You can go to this website for all the details. Please help out the children, they need us! Thank you, and I even had a call today during the Ellen K morning show all about it. Take a listen, and please make an appointment. There is a photo below from Instagram that has the info as well:
