WATCH: Today is National Good Samaritan Day, and we have been sharing some great stories tonight. And in the spirit of this great day, I thought I would share some great stories of Good Samaritans and their great deeds. First off, here is a piece done by Inside Edition with different people doing acts of kindness that will bring tears to your eyes:
And it just wouldn't be able to talk about Good Samaritans if I didn't share this story. A mom took her special needs child to Planet Fitness to get some exercise. The gym is a little far from her, so she was so sad when she saw she had forgotten her son's workout shoes! The trainer let him do some light workouts, and little did she know that there was a club manager with the kindest heart. The club manager went to a store down the street and bought him brand new shoes! Read the whole story below in the mom's Facebook post:
And finally, here is something that we all can do, even if we do not want to do the challenge. This is the new #TrashTag challenge that is going viral. Byron Roman in Arizona started this challenge for "bored teens." He posted on Facebook (shown below) challenging teens to find an area that needed cleaning in their area and take a picture. After, the teen cleans the area and shows an after picture. The teen would post the before and after pic on social media with the hashtag "TrashTag." And it is actually getting some love across the nation, below is Byron's post, along with a couple posts from strangers! Hooray for National Good Samaritan Day!
