PICS: The Superbloom was all the rage in the past month. We had a lot of rain, which brought one of the most amazing wildflower blooms in years! But not everyone got to experience the main headliners that we saw on the social media feeds (the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and Walker Canyon). I got to visit and I captured these amazing photos that you see on this blog!
If you didn't get to join in, there is still hope to catch a superbloom! The lesser known superbloom is coming to the mountains here in So Cal, and experts say you will have some amazing rare types of flowers ranging in all types of colors. The superbloom in the mountains is closer to summer because of the long cold weather from the winter time. The mountains are still warming up, meaning flowers will be coming in, and could stay all summer!
These areas will be the Inyo National Forest, the San Bernardino Mountains, and Big Bear Lake! So don't miss this one, and if you aren't convinced to go, just look at these photos I took from just last weekend. You won't want to miss an opportunity like this:
