South Florida St. Thomas Aquinas High School graduate, Kayla Tillman, was in for the surprise of her life when she was asked to come back up on stage during her graduation ceremony.
Her father, and U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Anthony Tillman, had been deployed for 10 years.
The speaker at the ceremony started by thanking her father and family for their sacrifice, and then proceeded to welcome him on the stage.
The father and daughter hugged tightly after being reunited in front of over 500 people.
The entire auditorium stood to their feet and erupted into applause.
