Containers At Fireworks Store Explode Creating Premature 4th Of July Show

Did you know that fireworks start on average 19,000 fires a year??

Traditionally in California, fireworks on the Fourth of July don't start until it's dark out which is around 8pm or 9pm.

However, for one small town in South Carolina, they got a bit of a head start!

According to the York County Sheriff's Office, early Thursday morning outside of a fireworks store in Fort Mill, South Carolina, some containers caught on fire.

And the result? A spectacular and premature firework show to ring in the holiday!

The authorities took to Twitter to post updates along with photos.

Their first post was a video of the unintentional yet beautiful celebratory display. In the short clip, you can see some rockets shooting in the air while another one exploded on the ground.

Later, the York County Sheriff Twitter account tweeted photos of the store, the black clouds and smoke surrounding it, and the charred aftermath of what was left after the incident and fire was extinguished.

Check out all of the videos and photos that the authorities tweeted below! They are pretty crazy.

The first video from ABC News shows a compilation of firework fails and holiday celebrations that had gone wrong.

Some of the fails shown include a bush that caught fire in front of a Denver home. The bush fire quickly spread to a car and then the actual home itself!

It's so important to stay safe out there!

I hope you all had a fun and safe Fourth of July holiday!
