According to UPWORTHY, this husband decided to go above and beyond to show his wife he loved him. Mr and Mrs Kuroki have been married since 1956, and they had a lot of plans for their lives. They raised 2 children and loved every minute of their life. And when retirement hit, they had more plans to enjoy life, until something derailed those plans.
Mrs. Kuroki became blind due to diabetes, and became depressed. Mr Kuroki didn't know what to do, but got an idea when he noticed some people stopping to admire his pink flowers on his farm. He knew that his wife wouldn't be able to travel because she was blind and couldn't enjoy it, but what if he could bring the traveling to them? For the next two years, he planted thousands of pink flowers on his farm.
From being a little farm that everyone just passed by, it became a must see tourist attraction in their small rural area in Japan! In the peak months of March and April, you can see an average of 7,000 visitors daily! And most importantly, Mrs. Kuroki has a smile from smelling and enjoying all of the company daily.
What started as a small little garden, not only became a top tourist attraction, but a story of what true love really is. It shows what length a person will go to in order to put a smile on their significant other's face. To see what this garden looks like, check out the video below:
