'Friends' Hits Theaters For 25th Anniversary Celebration

Calling all Friends fans! We have MAJOR news, so listen up!

The 25th anniversary of this iconic show is right around the corner and the whole gang we know and love Rachel, Monica, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler and Ross, are hitting the big screen!

Fathom Events and Warner Bros. are partnering to bring 12 of the classic episodes of the show to theaters in September and October. It's debut date is September 22nd, which is the date the show first aired in 1994. How neat!

In addition to enjoying Friends in theaters, fans will be getting a truly amazing experience since the original 35mm camera negatives have been remastered in 4K. But wait, there's more! There will be never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews in each screening!

President and Chief Marketing Officer Warner Bros. Television Group, Lisa Gregorian, said in a statement "The cultural impact that Friends continues to have, 25 years after its premiere, is astounding. A true testament to the genius of Marta Kauffman, David Crane, Kevin Bright and the incredibly talented cast."

She continued on to say "It is so amazing to know that the series is still bringing people of all ages together. We could not be more excited to deliver these digitally remastered episodes to theaters -- for the first time ever! -- so that together, in a shared experience, our loyal fans can enjoy some of their favorite Friends scenes in a new way."

If you're looking to celebrate the anniversary in more ways, LEGO will be selling a Central Perk LEGO Set!

Tickets to this amazing movie-goer experience will go on sale Friday, August 16th.
