It's September, so summer is unofficially, officially over. If you missed the OC Fair or can't make it to the LA County Fair to try all of their delicious, fattening foods, then you're in luck! Sonic has got you covered with one last taste of summer.
The fast food chain has brought back one of the fair's fan favorite desserts, fried Oreos with ice cream! Sonic is calling it Oreo A La Mode and is adding it to their Fair Favorites menu.
I'm sure you have tried one, but if not here's what its like: they deep fry an Oreo to make it this crunchy and creamy treat with a side of vanilla ice cream. Now there's no need to wait in two different lines for the cookie and then the soft serve. It's all in one place!
Also on the Fair Favorites menu is Ched ‘R’ Pepper bites, which are like fried jalapeño poppers but instead of cream cheese it's cheddar cheese. These two items will cost $2.99 each, but there is also the Sonic Corn Dog for 99 cents.
The Oreo A La Mode will only be here for a limited time and at participating locations. I'm sure it'll be gone faster than we think, just like summer!
