If you haven't heard the buzz yet, a new (and equally scary) IT movie has hit theaters. We all know who the terrifying clown is, and Starbucks decided to get in on the pop culture action by creating a Pennywise-inspired Frappuccino! It even has a strawberry "blood" puree swirled in. Sound appetizing?
This spooky Frapp originally made its debut a couple years back in 2017 when the first remake premiered. Do you remember seeing it all over your social media feed?
This limited-edition creation isn't technically on the menu, but it can be created and it's simple. The base is a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and then you request to add strawberry puree. One employee gave some helpful advice to customers: "PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS AS THE IT FRAPPUCCINO, your barista will likely NOT know what that is. Order a Vanilla bean frappuccino with strawberry purée on top!" This is finally a secret menu item your barista won't mind making!
We've seen a few locations creatively advertising the drink with signs like "Get IT. Before IT floats away." Clever, right?!
Fans of this limited-edition creation have been sharing their love on social media with comments like "Thank you @starbucks for the super secret #itfrappuccino Just in time for Halloween! It’s bloody delish!!!" and "Got my IT Frappuccino for my cheat day today!"
