Therapy Gator Visits Kids With Autism

We've all seen therapy dogs, cats, and even miniature horses, but have you ever heard about a therapy alligator? My guess in no!

Bubba, a 195 pound therapy alligator from Panama City, Florida, is changing lives!

Bubba decided to make a special visit to the Gulf Coast School for Autism. In fact, he's actually very involved in the school's science program!

Kids have the opportunity to pet him, and even hug him, to get a hands-on learning experience.

Some of the school's staff and Bubba's handler helped explain that kids with autism don't get the same connection by just touching toys or other objects compared to touching a live animal. By touching a living creature, they get energetic feedback.

Watch the video below to see just how great Bubba is!
