Pink is the new green when it comes to Christmas trees this holiday season! Pink Christmas trees are this year's new holiday must-have.
Wayfair.com shared that searches for pink Christmas trees have gone up 125% from the same time last year in 2018.
This trend is due to the popularity of millennial pink, which is a blush or light shade of pink that's widely loved.
Pantone's 2019 color of the year is living coral, also a shade of pink, adding to this trend's popularity!
It's definitely a fun pop of color and would be great for your Instagram feed. The hashtag #PinkChristmasTree generates over 20,000 Insta posts already!
One Wayfair shopper shared her more personal reason for getting a pink tree this year: "I was diagnosed with [breast cancer] earlier this year. After surgery and treatments, I am celebrating Cancer Free this Christmas! I purchased this pink tree as a symbol of being cancer free."
A Wayfair spokesperson shared that "Pink signals a refreshing air of celebration and adds an element of relaxed fun to any space. It's also unexpected for the holidays. We're so accustomed to the traditional tones of red, green and gold. Pink for holiday encourages people to put traditions aside and experiment with a color that's more unexpected."
Of course you can also find pink trees on websites like Amazon, Walmart, and Treetopia.
Many of these trees range in price from $24 to $300.
